Peterbrooke Chocolatier Opens New Shop on South County Road in Palm Beach, Fla. - Peterbrooke Chocolatier

Free chocolate covered popcorn, gelato tastings and gourmet chocolate samplings for every guest that visits during grand opening event

Peterbrooke Chocolatier (Peterbrooke), the premiere Florida-based confectioner transforming the art of fine European chocolate making into a truly American experience, announced today that it has opened a new specialty retail shop in Palm Beach, Fla. at 298 South County Road, two blocks north of Worth Avenue. Nearly five months in development, the new shop is part of Peterbrooke’s 2018 aggressive growth strategy as the brand eyes additional expansion across Palm Beach County and throughout South Florida.

“The new shop is more central to Palm Beach’s core allowing us to better serve the community – whether you’re walking or driving by,” said Jeff Smith, Peterbrooke Chocolatier’s chief operating officer. “Our new South County Road location features our updated branding and 2.0 shop design that includes a rotating gelato case, a chocolate tasting bar, a state-of-the-art kitchen and interactive prep areas, which brings the customer much closer to the chocolate making experience.”

As part of its grand opening celebration, Peterbrooke will offer every guest who walks through the door a free 6-oz chocolate covered popcorn, which is one of the brand’s signature items. Additionally, guests will be afforded the opportunity to taste gelatos, sample gourmet chocolates, hand dip their own treats and even make their own chocolate bark.

Peterbrooke’s traditional favorites such as decadent truffles, hand-made caramels and cherry cordials indulge even the most discerning connoisseurs while specialties such as chocolate covered cookies, pretzels, scratch-made marshmallows, potato chips and strawberries are hand-dipped daily with Peterbrooke’s own proprietary blend of milk, dark and white chocolate. Furthermore, many of Peterbrooke’s chocolates are certified OU Kosher including the gelato and each Peterbrooke shop offers its own unique take on team-building classes, summer day camps for children, private parties, catering and corporate gifts.

The new South County Road location was the culmination of nearly five years of operating an existing Peterbrooke Chocolatier shop on Royal Poinciana Way. Proving its deep commitment to the Palm Beach community, Peterbrooke continued to pay its employees after the former shop closed in June until the new location’s build-out was complete.

“Our Palm Beach employees are the heart and soul of our business and absolutely critical to producing the hand-crafted chocolates our customers have come to know us for,” said Smith. “We are happy to be back open with our existing and new staff at our new, more centrally located South County Road location and look forward to welcoming our loyal customers back, as well as introducing Peterbrooke chocolates to new guests and friends.”

All Peterbrooke Chocolatier stores, including the Palm Beach location, are UTZ certified, which ensures the global sustainable farming of cacao while providing farmers with better opportunities for growth and profitability. The UTZ program allows Peterbrooke’s cacao farmers to learn more environmentally friendly growing methods that increase crop yields while improving working conditions and simultaneously safeguarding our planet. Peterbrooke was one of the earliest adopters of the UTZ certification in the United States and is a proud part of sustainability program that involves all aspects of the chocolate supply chain.

The new Palm Beach Peterbrooke Chocolatier is located at 298 South County Road, Palm Beach, FL 33480.
